Griffin, Georgia - The MMI men's basketball team picked up a road win Monday evening at Southern Crescent Technical College to improve their record to 3-2.  After taking a seven point lead into halftime, the Tigers held on to a 88-78 victory behind double-double performances from Christian Richards and Andrew Johnson; Johnson's second.  Richards scored a team high 22 points with 12 rebounds while Johnson grabbed a team high 14 rebounds with 14 points.

Daylen Burks finished with 19 points while Marion's point guard, Kardi Tyler, dished out 9 assists with 16 points and 7 rebounds.  Caleb Johnson added 10 points and 5 rebounds for Marion, who will travel to Jacksonville, Florida this weekend for a tournament at Florida State College of Jacksonville.  Friday's match-up is against Palm Beach State College with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.  MMI will face USC Salkehtachie on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
